TRIPOD REUNION

I have many many friends in my life that mean the absolute world to me, however when it comes to the two girls featured in this post; they are my ultimate babes! I met this pair when I was living in the Lake District and attending Lancaster and Morecambe College. In the two years we spent studying Public Services we became inseparable and spent literally the best years of my life showing Lancaster how to paaaarrrttttaaayyyyy!

Since then we attended separate Universities and after graduating we have all taken very different career paths. Hannah (gorgeous brunette on the left) has recently moved to Manc land and is a member of the British Transport Police, Lisa (blushing blonde in the middle) leads a very lavish life working on a cruise ship for the Merchant Navy and as you may know I spend my days in front of a computer managing a clothing website! However, our differences are what make this clan so perfect!

A couple of weeks ago Lisa landed in be the UK and made a B-line for Manchester to spend a night on the town! We headed to Love Lust Liquor and Burn for some grub with mine and Hannah's fellas, then ditched the boys and hit Hula for a boogie and a couple of Zombies! I had such a fantastic night, the only down side being when I spend time with these beauts and Lisa heads off back to sea I miss our Tripod so much more!!!! Ladies, I love you to absolute death and cannot wait for our next reunion in 2014!

LUKE MOODYS BIRTHDAY

Last month my friends and I ventured out to 47 King Street West for a scrummy dinner to celebrate my boyfriend, Luke Moody's 25th Birthday. It was the first time I had eaten in this particular restaurant and I loved it! Here are a few snaps from the night.

After we migrated to Terrace on Deansgate for some cocktails and a bit of a boogie! For the occasion I purchased a new velvet dress and aired my new vintage coat loaned to me by a close friend who has moved to China.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

So this year I am skipping out on the usual Halloween dress up and lairy antics. Instead I spent last night with my sister taking my nephew trick or treating for the first time ever!!! I realise it's now no longer Halloween but I couldn't resist sharing his pumpkin outfit with you all!

AN AFTERNOON AT 72 TATTOO

A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend Luke embarked on a cover up of an old tribal tattoo on his calf. Being obsessed with Japanese culture he opted for a Koi fish with a medley of coral and water to cover his entire lower leg. I went with him for his first session where he underwent an intense 5 hours!!!!

I have now been inspired to carry on with my tattoo collection and I'm happy to say I will be inked in the next few weeks with a Gibson Les Paul the length of my under arm! A tribute to my daddy as I will be marked with the image of his favourite guitar out of his collection.

Justin, the gentlemen tattooing my boyfriend is a truly talented artist and I cannot wait to show you all the final product! For the occasion I took my very furry cardigan out for a spin and my new trainers! Both purchased in the Dam.

Whilst in Justins 'office' I couldn't help but snap a few piccies of his personal artwork and his pretty impressive beard! Bring on Movember gents, we all love a little (or a lot of) facial hair!

A LITTLE BIT OF VINTAGE

So a couple of weeks ago I raided the charity shops in Rawtenstall, and I must say I was impressed! Not only did I find this suede sleeveless jacket but it was a steal at a mere £12!!!!!! A far cry from the extortionate prices of city centre second handers! Sorry about the blurry first image, I felt I had to still include it as my face looks so moody on the second!

VOGUE FASHION NIGHT OUT

The 10th October 2013 saw a very exciting night for all fashion lovers in the North West, as Vogue's legendary Fashion Night Out hit the streets of Manchester! Of course I did not pass up this opportunity to douse myself in designer, grab my very best fashion loving pal Anton and head for the shops! 

For this occasion I chose a very special outfit, the Vivienne Westwood masterpiece the one and only Carrie Bradshaw wore when she visited Vogue! Despite hers being a dramatic pin stripe and mine being a cool shade of grey, with my curly hair I felt oh so very Bradshaw! Of course Anton flashed a little Chanel for the event! 

Our first stop was a brief splurge at the Mac counter as I forgot my lipstick! Then we high tailed down to Vivienne Westwood to sneak a peak at the new Cambridge Satchel range. I was a little surprised to see the the bags adorned with the Squiggle print, I was secretly hoping for a little tartan if I'm honest.

Our next stop was Mulberry, which I have to say was my favourite of the night. The Gin and Tonics and savoury muffins made it shamelessly a little hard to leave. Then it was to Flannels to meet a few friends and visit some familiar faces, the next few stops in between were a little of a blur I must admit! We then ended the fashion pit stops in Selfridges and wrapped the night up in The Alchemist. Needless to say Friday morning in work was more than a struggle!

REUNION IN THE DAM!

First of I would like to appologise to two of my best girls featuring in this blog post....as this blog post (the same most of my posts) it's way overdue! 

This summer one of my beautiful friends Sarah Connolly embarked on a new life in Amsterdam! So naturally me and Sarah McNeil (confusing I know!) saw a fantastic opportunity for a weekend away!

We arrived at 10am Saturday morning, dumped our bags and made a B line for Hard Rock to sip on some cocktails! The rest of the day we spent strolling around, taking silly pictures and giggling like school girls. Here are a few piccys from a fantastic day!
